Original Items: Only Ones Available. This is a nice example of the black leather foul weather jacket / deck jacket as worn by all ranks of the Kriegsmarine. Paired with the Jacket is an excellent example of a Kriegsmarine Foul Weather Hat. The original ties are present, and the rubber is in excellent condition.

The jacket, of heavy black leather with a standing collar, is single breasted with a single row consisting of five glass Kriegsmarine buttons, featuring the Kriegsmarine anchor motif and gilt wash. Lined with heavy grey wool, which shows signs of honest wear and some period repairs. The buttons are Kriegsmarine marked and dated 1942 on the reverse side. All buttons are present.

It has the typical lower flapped hip pockets and one upper breast pocket with flap. The interior is fully lined with heavy black wool and has one inside pocket which has a manufacturers label attached. The markings are present, but illegible.
