Slovakia adopted their flag in 1992. Originally without the coat of arms, Slovakia adopted the tricolour while they were a republic of Czechoslovakia. The flag was identical to Russia's so they added the coat of arms in 1992. 

The flag has a white strip on the side with two metal eyelets.
